Friends,

It is unfortunate to report that we have spent all of July dealing with problems with our mail. While these problems have been fustrating, we are so thankful for the flexibility of all of our friends that have sacrificed and still given up their resources for this ministry. In order to alleviate some of our problems getting correspondance, we ask that you label all mail as follows:

The L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry

Please remember to put a return address label on your mail just in case of any more mishaps. Thanks again for being so flexibe, and we apologize to anyone that this inconvenienced.

A Worker Is Worth His Wages

August 4th, 2008

How said it is to live in a nation where we expect hardworking individuals to raise a family on minimum wage. For too long, our PA law of $5.15 per hour was crippling our families and creating a wide gap between classes. Increasing the minimum wage to $7.15 has greatly helped, but more needs to be done to alleviate the massive poverty that we find ourselves in. Below is an article for the co-author of “A Just Minimum Wage: Good for workers, business and Our future.” Also, check out our poll and tell us what you think the minimum wage should be!
