Donate Clothes

For 16 years, ALIVE has been Pittsburgh’s largest celebration for the homeless. Here, hundreds of men, women and children come out to receive winter clothing,  a delicious meal, opportunities to worship and respond to the Gospel, as well as friendships that offer hope and healing. To make this year’s event a success, we need winter clothing donations. If you are interested in donating your clothing, please read the following information:

The homeless deserve our best! We are only looking for the best items you can offer. It is preferable that you give only a few items if they are of the best quality as opposed to just donating whatever you have. Please do not say that “If I were homeless, I would wear it”. That is not how we treat our friends, nor how we desire to treat the homeless.

We will absolutely NOT take any clothing that is torn, dirty, old, worn out, old-fashioned, ugly, or that is not appropriate for winter.
